50 Voices of Nursing

The UTEP College of Nursing is proud to launch our “50 Voices of UTEP Nursing” initiative as part of our 50th anniversary celebration. This special project honors five decades of educating nurses who serve and lead in the El Paso region and beyond.

Through this initiative, we will highlight 50 unique voices from our community—students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community partners. Each will share a short story or reflection about what UTEP Nursing means to them, how the college has shaped their journey, and the impact UTEP nurses have had on patients, families, and communities.

You will see these stories featured throughout the year in brief written spotlights, social media posts, videos, and special anniversary events. Together, these 50 voices will tell the larger story of UTEP Nursing: our roots on the border, our commitment to access and excellence, and our vision for the next 50 years of transforming health care.
